Joe Dotro

Barber · Co-Owner

He was born in New Jersey, raised in Nutley, where he attended and graduated from Nutley High School. He knew he wanted to pursue barbering from a young age, especially after cutting his friends and family.

After doing it for some time he committed to studying and graduating from Capri Institute.

His goal was always to open up his own shop. After working at a couple different ones he decided to pursue his dream and open Lineage. He is happy working behind the chair, serving people with a great conversation and haircut.

Mario Velasquez

Barber · Co-Owner

He was born in New Jersey, raised in Roselle Park, where he attended and graduated from Roselle Park High School. His passion for barbering started at 19 years old. After learning how to cut his own hair he quickly realized his talent and how much he enjoyed doing it.

He graduated from Capri Institute and worked in 3 different barbershops before ultimately deciding to open up Lineage.

Today Mario is still as passionate and enjoys his career as a barber very much. Almost 10 years in and he still feels like he doesn't work a day in his life.
