Messaging Terms

Appointment texts,
and nothing else.

These are Lineage Barbershop's terms for text messages. Effective August 22, 2026.

If you ask us to, we'll text you about your appointment. That's all we use your number for. We don't send promotions, and we never sell or share your number.

What we send

  • A confirmation when your booking is made.
  • A reminder before your appointment.
  • Notice if your appointment is changed or cancelled.

Message frequency varies with how often you book. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. We don't charge for text messages.

How you turn them on

Text messages are off until you turn them on. There is no pre-checked box, and nothing on our booking form signs you up.

Booking online with Lineage Barbershop means creating an account on Kalendaryo, the scheduling platform we use, operated by Pasco Labs LLC. There are two places you can say yes, both attached to your own account. When you create your account, there is an unticked box beside a line naming Lineage Barbershop and the messages we would send; leaving it alone still creates the account, and ticking it gets you a single confirmation text. Afterwards, you can switch Text messages on or off any time in your account settings. Either way the date is recorded and shown back to you.

Giving us your mobile number is never a condition of booking. If you book as a guest without creating an account, you'll hear from us by email only — we don't text guests at all.

How you stop them

Reply STOP to any message and the texts end immediately. You can also switch Text messages back off in your account settings — same effect. Reply START if you change your mind.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email contact@kalendaryo.ai.

Stopping reminders doesn't cancel your appointment. If you turn them off, remembering the booking is on you.

Your number

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your number is shared with the telecommunications provider only to deliver the messages described above.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your device, your plan, and network conditions.

Opening Soon

We're not open yet — booking opens with the doors in early September. Text messages are never automatic, so if you'd like reminders waiting from day one, you can set your account up now and switch them on whenever you're ready.
